Dr. Erica Voss -Meloy

From her first day in town, Erica fell in love with Mechanicsburg, and was thrilled when she had the opportunity to continue the tradition of bringing quality eye care services to the members of our community. With over 27 years of experience as an optometrist, Erica chose eye care as a profession because she enjoys helping people see better and, as a result, enjoy a fuller life.

Actively involved in our community and her profession, Erica has served as the president of the Mechanicsburg Lions Club, and is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Pennsylvania Optometric Association, Central PA Optometric Society,  AAUW- American Association of University Women, and two Chambers of Commerce.

Erica and her husband enjoy traveling, attending movies, concerts and plays, walking, and birdwatching She looks forward to meeting you and welcoming you to our family of patients.

Dr. Richard T. Hawley
                                            

Born and raised in the Harrisburg area, Rick remembers his first trip to Mechanicsburg to attend Jubilee Day in the late 1960's. He has enjoyed many Jubilee Days since then, including the most recent one when he was able to share the time-honored Mechanicsburg tradition with his stepson Nick.

Rick became interested in optometry in the early ‘70’s when he became one of the first wearers of soft contact lenses. He is happy to help provide the blessing of good vision to his patients, both in the U.S. and in Latin America.

Over the past twelve years Rick has provided eye care to thousands of patients on nine mission trips to Guatemala and one mission trip to Cuba. These trips are through an organization called VOSH – Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity of Pennsylvania ( www.voshpa.org ).

Rick, his wife and sons reside in Camp Hill and enjoy movies, cycling and walking.

Our Staff Members

Tara - is our Front Desk Manager. She is also knowledgeable about most other areas of the practice.

Michelle - is a Certified Paraoptometric Assistant. Michelle and her family reside in Dillsburg.

Donna -is an optician and certified paraoptometric technician who won the 1999 Paraoptometric of the Year Award. Donna and her husband enjoy traveling and camping.

Sue - is our Insurance and Billing manager. She and her husband enjoy spending time with their grandchildren.

Holly - is our Business Office clerk. Holly is the newest member of our staff.
